Dusty Gravel Grinder

Recipient of Cycling PEI’s 2022 Event of the Year Award, the Dusty Red Gravel Grinder is now an annual tradition, returning for its sixth year on August 22.

This event is sponsored by Ted’s Bicycle Studio and Tailwinds Cycling Tours PEI, featuring different rides of varying length exploring the gravel of eastern Queens County. All rides start and end at Ted’s Bicycle Studio at 41 Hollis Avenue in Stratford. Big (84 km), little (36 km) and mini (17 km) route options will be available, rolling out at 8:30 am, 10 am, and 11 am, respectively. Courses will be well marked.

Gravel or mountain bikes are recommended. E-bikes are welcome for the little and mini routes. Bike rentals are also available for the event.

Lunch will be served post-ride back at Ted’s, along with prize giveaways.

Rain date is August 23.
