Dr. Zoo Solo Hour Music Series

Six-time East Coast Music Award nominee Randal Arsenault, who performs as Dr. Zoo, presents the Dr. Zoo Solo Hour Music Series at Arsenault’s Potato House near Victoria by the Sea. Held Thursdays from 5–6 pm throughout July and August, each intimate concert features original music and audience favourites, with a different focus each week.

July performances spotlight songs from Dr. Zoo’s award-nominated albums: Dr. Zoo (2003) on July 2; The Journey to 42 (2006) on July 9; Southern African Field Studies (2008) on July 16; Dr. Zoo’s Last Stand (2014) on July 23; and the children’s album Zoo & The Moose (2021) on July 30.

Arsenault’s Potato House is a new cafe and retail space overlooking the Northumberland Strait and Victoria by the Sea. It features a new distillery in the barn, lawn seating, lawn games, a 900-metre potato trail, Afternoon Tea from 2–4 pm (Thursday–Sunday), and the weekly concert series.

Admission is at the door and free for children.
