Comedy Night Victoria By The Sea

The Victoria Playhouse invites audiences to roll in the aisles this summer with the return of the sold-out hit Comedy Night Victoria by the Sea, a three-night-only festival celebrating stand-up comedy and new storytelling styles. Comedy Night Victoria by the Sea runs July 7, 8, and 9.

Island comedian Patrick Ledwell is bringing one of Canada’s premier storytellers to join him for this year’s edition. All three nights will feature headliner Steve Patterson, multiple award-winner for Best Canadian Stand-up at the Canadian Comedy Awards, and host of the long-running CBC hit The Debaters.

Ledwell will kick off the shows, showcasing the smart and honest comedy that has brought him from Island halls to national comedy festivals. Storyteller and musician Mark Haines will play the hosting role, bringing a blend of humour and harmony to the evenings.
