Charlottetown Jazz Ensemble

Now in its 30th season, the Charlottetown Jazz Ensemble (CJE) hosts a monthly series on the first Friday of every month from 6–7:30 pm at the Salvador Dali Café. The next concerts are June 5 and July 3.

The big band brings together Island musicians, from students to professionals. For three decades, CJE has performed an eclectic mix of standards and contemporary jazz. With full horn sections (five trumpets, four trombones, and five saxes) plus a rhythm section, CJE showcases some of PEI’s best improvisers.
