Charlottetown Bike Week: Downtown ArtCycle Guided Bike Ride
Charlottetown Bike Week is back and will take place June 7 to 13. The City is partnering with local cycling organizations, businesses and neighbouring municipalities to offer a week-long series of fun and engaging events aimed at promoting cycling as a healthy, sustainable and accessible form of transportation.
Throughout the week, residents of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate in activities that celebrate the joy of biking and highlight the progress made in building more bike-friendly communities.
On June 9 from 4:30–5:30 pm, join Downtown ArtCycle for a fun and inspiring bicycle tour of public art in Charlottetown’s vibrant downtown. Starting at City Hall, 199 Queen Street, this guided ride showcases the city’s artistic treasures and cultural landmarks, all while promoting sustainable transportation. Bring your bike, your curiosity and your love for local art.
Celebrate Bike Week 2025 by planning a Family & Friends Bike Ride. MacQueen’s Bike Shop & Island Tours has over a dozen self-guided bicycle day tours. The routes are downloadable, publicly accessible and free of charge. Stop into MacQueen’s during Bike Week for a chance to win a $75 voucher to spend in store.
Check out the Walk & Roll in Charlottetown heritage display at Victoria Park, located along the pathway between the outdoor pool and the Jumpstart playground. Stroll through the exhibit and learn about the history and growing popularity of active transportation in Charlottetown.
