CAWG 3rd Annual Striped Bass Fishing Derby

The Cornwall and Area Watershed Group (CAWG) is inviting anglers and all community members to its third annual Striped Bass Fishing Derby, taking place from 8–11 pm on July 24 in North River. The registration hub will be located at the North River Causeway.

The derby will award prizes for the biggest catch in both adult and teen divisions. Registrations and catch submissions will again be handled via the free app, FishDonkey. Participants are encouraged to download and familiarize themselves with the app in advance.

This year’s prizes are donated by Going Fishing, Eskape Anglers, Richard’s Bait and Tackle, Spartan Industrial Marine, and Princess Auto. Maritime Electric has also sponsored the event this year.
