Building a Rain Garden Workshop

This educational session will provide a history of the rain garden that was installed at the Spring Park Elementary School by the Ellen’s Creek Watershed Group. Learn about the installation process, how native plants were chosen, the overall success and the challenges encountered over the years. Tara Callaghan, landscape architect, will provide her professional advice for how homeowners can start their own rain garden and nature-based designs.

Attendees are encouraged to ask questions throughout. Meet at the Spring Park Elementary School entrance at 30 Dunkirk Street.
