Black Snow 3 ft. Erbie Couture

PEI Underground Hip Hop presents Black Snow 3 featuring Erbie Couture of The Snowgoons this month in Charlottetown. Hosted by AMAC, a Charlottetown-based music promoter, the event will raise funds for the Autism Society of PEI.

Toronto-born and now based in Munich, Germany, Erbie Couture is a veteran hip-hop artist and producer who has been active in the underground rap scene since the early 1990s. After releasing his first project through Sony Music Canada in 1996, he went on to record and release music across Europe and Southeast Asia while producing and remixing tracks for artists including Choclair and Dan-e-o.

Maintaining strong ties to Toronto while establishing a steady buzz overseas, Erbie has collaborated with producers such as Midiflash and toured throughout Europe since 2008. As a key affiliate of the globally recognized German underground production team, the Snowgoons, he is known for bringing East Coast-inspired boom-bap and hardcore aesthetics to the international rap scene. He often collaborates with the Snowgoon roster, bringing a raw, lyrical edge to their cinematic beats.

Fans can see him live on July 24 at Baba’s Lounge. Local acts performing include S.N.K., Adjust the Facts, The Humanoid Movement, and DJ AllyCaT spinning all night long. Admission is at the door. This is a 19+ event.
