Acadian-Cajun Night: Vishtèn & Louis Michot
Acadian-Cajun Night, a double-bill featuring Vishtèn and Louis Michot, will be presented at Harbourfront Theatre in Summerside on June 29 at 7:30 pm and at Souris Show Hall in Souris on June 30 at 7:30 pm.
Vishtèn, a cornerstone of the modern Acadian music scene, returns to the stage with a renewed spirit. The trio—Emmanuelle LeBlanc, Pascal Miousse, and Megan Bergeron—brings an electrifying blend of traditional French songs, powerful instrumentals, and driving rhythms.
Joining them is Louis Michot. As the driving force behind the Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers, Michot has more than 20 albums to his credit. His music continues to push the boundaries of Louisiana French musical traditions.
