Hope House Afternoon Tea Fundraiser

Hope House is hosting an Afternoon Tea fundraiser on May 24 from 2–4 pm at Credit Union Place in Summerside. 

Hope House Mother’s Home in Summerside is approaching its second anniversary. Since opening in April 2024, Hope House has become a lifeline for vulnerable mothers across Prince Edward Island—and it exists entirely because of community generosity. It does not receive government funding.

Hope House is a 24/7 supportive home where mothers and infants can live together for up to 15 months in a safe, supportive environment while they heal, learn, and build a healthy environment for themselves and their children. In just two years, it has supported 16 mothers and 23 children with safe housing, 24/7 care, parenting education, meaningful relationships and friendships, and more. 

Admission to the Afternoon Tea is by donation. Registration is required via email to hopehousepei@gmail.com.
