The Charlottetown-based band Dear Blossom released its debut self-titled EP on July 13. The four-track release is available on streaming platforms and features a guest appearance from local band Oakdrive on the track “Thorn.”

The band’s sound on the EP was influenced by Title Fight’s Shed and Smashing Pumpkins’ Siamese Dream.

Dear Blossom was the winner of Music PEI’s inaugural Battle of the Bands during Music PEI Week 2026. The band consists of Authin Hercules (lead vocals and guitar), Brendan Cheverie (guitar), MacKenzie Curley (bass), and Logan Richards (drums).

The EP was recorded by Andrew Cormier and mixed Liam Ferrell. Lyrics and cover art are by Authin Hercules.

Catch Dear Blossom at Secret Trash Fest II in Charlottetown on August 15. There will be tapes available for purchase. Dear Blossom is also available on streaming platforms.
