Last Chance to See:
Mitchell Wiebe: VampSites, in the Lower West Gallery at Confederation Centre Art Gallery, closes April 21 before going on national tour.

Continuing Exhibitions:
A Documentary Impulse: 1970s Photography of Prince Edward Island Life continues until May 21.

Who’s Your Mother? Women Artists of P.E.I., 1964  to the Present continues.

New exhibition opening April 27:
In the Balance, curated by Pan Wendt, is a selection of works from the gallery’s permanent collection that articulate the tension between idea and thing, form and matter, making and thinking. It runs April 27 to September 21.

Programming:
Art PD Day in the Schurman Family Studio is April 12, ages 6–12, 9 am–4 pm.
Family Sunday, the last of the winter, is April 28 from 1:30-3 pm This is a free, fun, and bilingual (English and French) event. Learn how to make miniature origami paper sculptures using the exhibition A Documentary Impulse as inspiration. All ages are welcome.
