Registration is open at Confederation Centre of the Arts for the 2026/27 Arts Academy season. Students of all ages and experience levels are welcome to explore dance, music, theatre, and visual arts in one of PEI’s most storied arts institutions.

Dance Umbrella, one of PEI’s longest-running dance programs, has a student-centred approach to dance education for dancers of all ages and experience levels, providing high-quality classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop, and musical theatre.

The Musical Theatre program training explores the technical and expressive elements of drama, voice, and dance used in musical theatre productions, with performance opportunities offered at the end of each term. Adult Improv and Adult Drama classes are also on the roster.

The Visual Arts program complements the Centre’s renowned Art Gallery with hands-on classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Participants are encouraged to explore their creativity while engaging with the Centre’s rich artistic resources. The Exploring Visual Arts for Adults class returns this fall, as well as monthly Seniors’ Art Activities. 

Choral music has been central to the Centre’s story since 1965. Today, the Arts Academy’s choirs continue that tradition through the Confederation Youth Chorus and the Confederation Singers, welcoming both young people and adults. Fall registration is open for both groups.
