PEI musician Alicia Toner has released a new single, “Dangerous Home,” co-written with Sean Panting and produced by Tim Chaisson and Stuart Cameron.

On the release you can hear Alicia Toner (vocals, acoustic guitar, violin, Organ), Stuart Cameron (electric guitar, lap steel), Tim Chaisson (vocals, guitar), Peter Fusco (bass) and Trevor Grant (drums).

Alicia Toner writes songs that tell the truth. Her Americana blend of folk, pop and country-rock offers a melody-driven sound built around her emotive voice. Alicia’s debut album I Learned the Hard Way earned her Music PEI’s SOCAN Songwriter of the Year Award.

This single release is part of Music PEI’s Golden Ticket program. The Golden Ticket Program was developed by Music PEI to assist emerging artists to record and release a single.

Complementing the song release is a series of photos. Alicia worked with Toronto photographer Sam Gaetz to shoot the images for the project, which is about expectation versus reality.
