About The Buzz

The first issue of The Buzz was published in June, 1993. Our purpose is to celebrate, support and promote the arts, entertainment and culture of Epekwitk / PEI. We are a 100% local and self-funded, 2nd generation family business.

Readership

The Buzz has 25,000–30,000+ eager monthly readers year-round. That number increases in the summer months with July and August going up to 50,000–55,000+ monthly readers.

Wide Circulation

The Buzz is distributed across the Island through 350–550 locations (depending on the season), including coffee shops, restaurants, lounges, hotels, cottages, grocery stores, corner stores, community centres, theatres, venues, festivals, retailers, hospitals, college and university campuses, and visitor centres.

High Demand

At least 97% of all circulated copies are picked up voluntarily at distribution points, with at least 75% of them in readers hands within the first several days.
