The Fabulously Rich: The Tragically Hip Tribute Band

The Fabulously Rich is a live tribute to The Tragically Hip. The band formed in 2016 in Charlottetown, PEI after news broke that Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. They look to keep the band’s music alive and celebrate the magic that made The Tragically Hip an iconic force in Canadian Music History.

They’ve performed in front of tens of thousands and cultivated an incredible following of their own. They have a profound respect for The Hip, their music, and what it means to their fans. Their mission is to recreate that indescribable experience of being at an authentic Hip show, and they strive to capture every musical and vocal nuance, ensuring that the essence of the music remains intact.
