Robyn Perry

Prince Edward Island born and raised, the acadian soprano Robyn Perry first studied voice at the Université de Moncton, and completed a Masters degree in vocal performance at the Université de Montréal, under the tutelage of Monique Pagé. She was awarded the Prix Jean-François Mailloux and the Prix Mélodie Française in the CALRM competition.

Robyn has sung many operatic roles, including Cupid (Venus and Adonis, John Blow), Clara (La Vie Parisienne, Offenbach), and created the role of Juno Bird in the Canadian live premiere of Palej’s The Art of Love. She is also a frequent recitalist, headlining organ and voice recitals in 2017, 2018 and 2023 with collaborators Leo Marchildon and as a guest artist in 2019 with Jean-Willy Kunz, and self-producing a Maritime tour with pianist Christine Gollan in 2019 entitled Chantez Toujours, a celebration of French-language repertoire by French, Canadian and Acadian composers.
