Kurk Bernard
Kurk lived in Hamilton, Ontario, where he was bass guitarist and vocalist for the country band, Blind River, as well as South Mountain Band, and still performs from time to time with both groups. Now living in PEI, Kurk continues his music, performing in night clubs, benefits, Chase The Ace in his hometown and many other events.
Kurk has also recorded music with the late, great legendary Merle Haggard and has toured with musicians such as John Landry, South Mountain and John Cody Carter.
In early 2016, Kurk released his debut album entitled Love’s Gonna Live Here. It contains 13 songs and a bonus track, sung by his daughter Faith, entitled “Daddy Come Home.” The songs are all cover country songs, including, “Love’s Gonna Live Here,” “You’re Still on My Mind,” “Way To Survive,” “Apr #9,” “Memories To Burn,” “Ace In The Hole” and more.
