The Seniors College of PEI is preparing for another season of lifelong learning, with registration for adults aged 50 and over opening on September 2 at 9 am. This year, the College is offering more than 140 non-credit courses, including 30 new offerings. Courses cover a wide range of topics, from arts and literature to science, drawing and painting, and learning a new language. Designed specifically for adults aged 50 and over, Seniors College of PEI provides a flexible learning experience with no exams, papers, or prerequisites. Courses range from one to eight weeks in length. Many members also value the social aspect of the programs. Programs are offered across Queens, Kings, and Prince counties, making quality learning accessible throughout PEI. A one-time membership fee provides unlimited access to courses over three terms. Course descriptions and schedules will be available online by early August, allowing prospective members time to review the offerings and plan their selections. Those interested in popular courses are encouraged to register as soon as registration begins. Individuals aged 50 and over who wish to become members are encouraged to purchase their membership before August 26 to be entered into a membership refund draw.
