The Silly Goose Children’s Festival, produced by Becca Griffin and Wanda Naylor, will be presented at Beaconsfield Carriage House in Charlottetown over nine days in August. The festival will feature stories, music, dancing, and fun for children and their families.

The Catching Fish Puppet Show & Singalong, written and directed by Becca Griffin with Lucy Farrell leading the singalong, will be presented at 12 noon on August 11–12 and 18–19.

Tunes and Tall Tales will perform Teddy Bear’s Picnic on August 13 at 12 noon.

The Princess and the Pea will be performed on August 14 and 20 at 11 am and 12:30 pm, and on August 21 at 12 noon. The play was written by Rebecca L. Byars and Lane Riosley and directed by Becca Griffin.

The Madame Abbey & Friends Children’s Show on August 17 at 10 am will feature high-energy, bilingual, live family entertainment.

The festival will also feature the Family Folk Dance for Fun workshop with Wanda Naylor. No experience is required.

Admission to most events will be available by cash only at the door, with free admission for children under age three. Admission to Catching Fish only will be pay-what-you-can at the door.
