Parade: Queer Acts of Love & Resistance Screening & Panel Discussion
Beyond the Frame presents a special free screening of Parade: Queer Acts of Love & Resistance at the Tivoli Theatre in Charlottetown on July 24 at 7 pm.
This powerful documentary explores the history, resilience, and activism of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities across Canada, highlighting the people and movements that helped shape Pride as we know it today.
Through stories of courage, resistance, and joy, Parade celebrates the ongoing fight for equality while reminding us of the importance of community and visibility.
Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with local community members who will reflect on the film’s themes, share their own experiences, and explore what Pride means on PEI.
This screening is presented as part of Pride PEI 2026. Admission is free, but registration is required to secure your seat. For registration info, visit pridepei.ca.
