Lennon Recovery House: Shed the Stigma Fundraiser
Lennon Recovery House has launched its newest fundraising campaign, Shed the Stigma, a province-wide initiative aimed at supporting recovery, raising awareness about addiction, and breaking down the stigma that continues to prevent many individuals from seeking help. The campaign’s grand prize is a fully wired 12×20 portable building, donated through community support, and valued at approximately $15,000. Funds raised will directly support Lennon Recovery House programs and services, which help individuals build stable, healthy, and recovery-focused lives while supporting families impacted by addiction. Tickets can be purchased by e-transfer to shedthestigma@lennonhouse.ca (include name and phone number), in-person at Sobey’s on University Ave in Charlottetown, or online at go.eventgroovefundraising.com/shedthestigma. The shed will be displayed at Sobey’s all summer. Stop by, take a photo, and share it on social media using #ShedTheStigma to help spread the message that recovery is possible. The winning ticket will be drawn on August 31 at 12 noon.
