Brookvale Canada Cup

Mountain bikers will compete for the Brookvale Canada Cup this year on August 13–16 at the Brookvale Activity Park, located 25 km west of Charlottetown.

The trails at Brookvale have become well-known to mountain bike enthusiasts from throughout the Maritime provinces and beyond, featuring 22 km of single-track, primarily machine-built trails ranging in difficulty from ‘easy’ to ‘extremely difficult.’ The XCO course is a 4 km lap with a variety of terrain from wide open ski trails to tight technical single track. Short punchy climbs and equally short descents mean riders get little time to rest, and a range of man-made and natural features will challenge competitors’ focus and skill. The start/finish zone located in the Biathlon stadium makes for prime spectator viewing.
