PEI Gran Fondo 2026

The PEI Gran Fondo returns to the Island for a two-day event on August 28–29, beginning from the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown at 8 am. It is the first Gran Fondo in Atlantic Canada, enjoyed by riders around the world since 2014.

The combination of scenery and coast-to-coast Gran and Medio Fondo rides, combined with timed climb and sprint sections, will offer a challenge to riders of all levels over two days, at a beautiful time of year.

On August 28, the event features three ride lengths and difficulty options, and lunch is provided.

On August 29, there will be a 150 km Gran Fondo and a 100 km Medio Fondo to suit participants’ interests and level of training. There will be an opportunity to stop for lunch and nutrition zones are included. After the Gran and Medio Fondos, participants can gather for a post-ride meal and entertainment at the PEI Brewing Company.

There will be provided lead and support vehicles to assist with traffic and safe passage.
