As construction ramps up across the Island, motorists can plan ahead and stay informed about road projects and traffic impacts by using the government’s online resource Stay in the loop, Plan Your Route. Motorists can receive road construction alerts by text or email by creating a free account on the province’s 511 service and adding their most frequently travelled routes. It also offers free trip‑planning tools, instructional videos, and other helpful information about highway safety and infrastructure improvements.
