
Friday Night Ceilidh at the Benevolent Irish Society: The Proud Islanders’ bilingual performance by Karl Proude and Armand Arsenault
The public is invited to the Benevolent Irish Society’s annual 2026 Friday Night Ceilidh season. Running weekly on Fridays through September 25, the authentic Irish ceilidhs feature PEI musicians, storytellers, dancers, and special guests.
Upcoming performances feature: The Proud Islanders’ special bilingual performance by Karl Proude and Armand Arsenault with step dancers, fiddler Louise Arsenault, and keyboardist Helene Bergeron on June 26.
All two-hour, family-friendly shows start at 7:30 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm) at the BIS’s air-conditioned, wheelchair-accessible Irish Cultural Centre in Charlottetown.
Tickets may be purchased in advance online at Locarius.io (plus applicable fees), or with cash at the door, subject to seating availability. A 50/50 draw and light refreshments will be available during intermission.
