Stompin’ Tom Connors Live at the Horseshoe Dinner Theatre

The 2026 dinner theatre production at the Stompin’ Tom Centre in Skinners Pond this summer will be Stompin’ Tom Connors Live at the Horseshoe.

Step inside Toronto’s legendary Horseshoe Tavern for a night celebrating one of Canada’s greatest musical storytellers—Stompin’ Tom Connors.

Live at the Horseshoe brings Tom’s spirit, songs, and storytelling tradition back to the very stage where he made history.

This special tribute performance highlights some of Tom’s closest musical friends, longtime bandmates, and rising Canadian roots artists in honour of the man who gave the country its soundtrack. From “Bud the Spud” to “The Hockey Song,” audiences will experience a night of pure Canadiana performed with the energy, humour, and authenticity Tom was known for.

The production features Chad Matthews as Tom, alongside Kurk Bernard, Danalee Lynch-Veinotte, and fiddler Andy Doucette portraying some of Tom’s closest friends and bandmates.

Set within the intimate, historic atmosphere of “The ’Shoe,” the show blends live music, shared memories, vintage footage, and stories from the road, giving longtime fans and newcomers alike a chance to revisit the legacy of a national icon.
