Inside the Journey of a Buddhist Nun

After months of preparation, the “Inside the Journey of a Buddhist Nun” immersive experience is available to the public at the Great Wisdom Buddhist Institute’s Welcome House (the single-storey white building by the boom gate). As it coincides with this special month when Buddha was born, the Buddhist nuns will be including a unique experience on June 2o at 2:30 pm where visitors can send prayers of peace while “Buddha Bathing.”

The experience includes hosted guided tours, learning about their lineage, curriculum, and preservation work, chatting with the Buddhist nuns, and enjoying some refreshments.
