Garage Sale & Community Hang

Islanders and visitors are welcome to enjoy a visit to Uigg Community Centre on May 30 from 9 am–1 pm. The Happy Hearts East Senior Club is hosting a garage sale and community gathering with light refreshments for sale. Picnicking, strolling the grounds and visiting with neighbors is encouraged. Bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on.

The former school in rural PEI dates back to 1877 and is on the Canadian Registry of Historic Places. The address is 4894 Murray River Road, Vernon Bridge, close to Route 1 and a stone’s throw away from McPhail Woods. The rain date is June 13.

Anyone age 50 and over is welcome to join the Happy Hearts Club. There are about 10 meetings each year with interesting and enjoyable activities and outings planned from September–June.
