The 2026 PEI Provincial Heritage Fair

The 2026 PEI Provincial Heritage Fair is taking place April 30 at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown. 

The Provincial Heritage Fair is a day of celebrating students’ achievements in historical inquiry. Students from Grades 5–12 will spend the day showcasing their student projects based on an aspect of Island or Canadian history. 

Members of the public are welcome to view the displays of student projects from 1:30–2:30 pm, with the closing ceremonies beginning at 2:30 pm. Prizes will be awarded to student projects throughout the morning, with finalists announced during the closing ceremony. 

It is anticipated that more than 2000 PEI students will participate in heritage fairs in the 2025-2026 school year.
