
Commonwealth Day
The Royal Commonwealth Society of PEI invites the public to celebrate the 2026 Commonwealth Day at the Kirk of St. James in Charlottetown on March 9 at 7 pm.
The event will include the Commonwealth Day message from His Majesty King Charles III, read by the Honourable Dr. Wassim Salamoun, Lieutenant Governor of PEI. The Commonwealth of Nations is a voluntary association of 56 independent countries spread throughout the world. The names of the 56 Commonwealth Nations will be read as their flags are presented by Sea, Army, Air, and Navy League Cadets. Music will be provided by the PEI Regiment Band and the Singing Strings.
Admission is free, but a free will offering is appreciated. Light refreshments will follow.
