Dance Umbrella Year End Recital: Muses, Myths, and Mosaics

Confederation Centre’s dance umbrella program presents its annual year-end recitals on May 9 at 2 pm and 7 pm in the Sobey Family Theatre.

Inspired by iconic figures from myth, history, and modern storytelling, this year’s showcases bring to life tales of courage, strength, and transformation through movement. From bold superheroes to timeless legends, each piece highlights the creativity, passion, and hard work of dance umbrella students dancers of all ages and levels.

The matinee performance, titled Heroes and Legends, includes Creative Movement; Junior, Beginner & Elementary levels in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary & Musical Theatre; student choreographies; and the Performance Group.

The evening performance, titled Muses, Myths, and Mosaics, includes Intermediate & Senior levels in Musical Theatre levels; Intermediate, Senior & ITP levels in Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary; all adult classes including Dance for Health; and the Performance Group.
