Winterval 2026: Light Brigade Parade and Light Trail, Sleigh Rides, and Snow & Frolic Zones

The Town of Three Rivers is preparing to welcome residents and visitors alike to Winterval 2026, taking place January 23–25. More than just a festival, Winterval has become a celebration of community spirit—a reminder that winter on PEI is not merely something to endure, but something to embrace.

This year’s festival stretches across Three Rivers, with the Rodd Brudenell River Resort serving as the central hub and other local venues joining in, including Kings Playhouse, Bogside Brewing, Copper Bottom Brewing, the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre, and the Montague Rotary Library.

Winterval regulars will see the return of the horse-drawn carriage rides, indoor play zone, SEA Frolic zone, outdoor skating, sledding and games (weather permitting), the lighted trail, and of course, the fireworks signature finale.

On January 23, families can enjoy a free Light Brigade Parade and light trail, sleigh rides, and snow and frolic zones at Rodd Brudenell from 6–8 pm.
