Oh, Charlie! Silent Night
This new, old-fashioned Christmas show is a witty and charming Christmas tale written, directed and performed by Islander Scott Chandler. Chandler’s lengthy career as a Canadian National gymnastics champion and PEI Hall of Fame athlete makes him the ideal performer to the take the role of the physical comedy, slapstick and acrobatic styles of Charlie Chaplin.
He’ll be joined by his eight-year-old son Finnegan, who takes the stage in his first major role playing an orphan boy searching for a family, a home and the true meaning of Christmas. The 2025 Atlantic Canadian gymnastics champion will also be showing a few tricks of his own as well as playing keyboard.
The performance will be accompanied with live music, performed by Norman Stewart and Courtney Hogan-Chandler. The two popular Island performers will be joined by a few a specials guests with new and old familiar Christmas music.
Oh, Charlie! Silent Night is partnering with the PEI Upper Room, donating a portion of every ticket sale, along with proceeds from a 50/50 draw and a silent auction that will also be part of the evening.
