The Nutcracker: Remixing the Magic
The Nutcracker: Remixing the Magic will be performed by students of dance umbrella in the Sobey Family Theatre at Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown on December 13. Showtimes are 2 pm and 7:30 pm.
The first act features the classic ballet set to Tchaikovskyā€™s original score, including familiar scenes such as the snowflakes and the Mouse King. The second act introduces new choreography and contemporary dance styles, incorporating elements of hip-hop and community-inspired movement.
