Garden Compost Event

A hands-on composting event takes place at the Robert L Cotton Centre on August 22 from 4–6 pm. Roger Henry, a composting technician from AAFC, and Soleil Hutchinson from Soleil’s Farm, will explore and give presentations on two composting methods: the Johnson-Su Bioreactor and the Tumbler System.

Light refreshments provided. Free to attend and everyone welcome. This event is hosted by the PEI Department of Agriculture in partnership with Town of Stratford, Stratford Area Watershed Improvement Group (SAWIG) and Sponsored by the SCAP (Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership) – Agriculture Awareness Program.
