Oscar Kempe Sings & Plays Piano
PEI-based songwriter Oscar Kempe will give an intimate evening performance of piano and vocals at the Beacosnfield Carriage House on July 30 at 8:15 pm. The program will feature original material alongside dynamic reinterpretations of classic folk songs, performed in two sets with a short intermission.
Oscar writes alternative folk music with an existential twist, exploring the human experience through a somatic lens. With a baritone voice and a rotating palette of guitar, piano, and banjo, they create warm, spacious arrangements that invite listeners to settle in. They perform solo in intimate settings, offering emotionally charged sets that resonate with audiences seeking honesty, tenderness, and a sense of shared humanity.
Doors open at 8 pm. Tickets available at the door or at ko-fi.com/oscarkempe/shop/tickets
