Riverbank Heritage Day
Trout River Environmental Committee invites the public to attend Riverbank Heritage Day, celebrating Canadian Rivers Day outside of Carr’s Oyster Bar in Stanley Bridge on June 14 from 11 am–3 pm.
The event will include environmental groups as exhibitors and presenters with a focus on education surrounding watercourses, as well as artists and crafters and fun activities for all. Come out and see educational displays of native and exotic wildlife inside Carr’s Wildlife Centre with a focus on conservation. The event gains attendees free access to the museum for the day.
Guests will also have the opportunity to go out on the water via kayak tours guided by TREC as well. Bring your own kayak or use one provided.
Pre-registeration is required at troutriverec.ca.
The event is free or by donation.
