Charlottetown Zoning and Development Bylaw Review Public Open House
The City of Charlottetown is seeking input from residents and businesses as part of its review of the City’s Zoning and Development Bylaw.
The updated bylaw will serve as the regulatory framework for land use development in Charlottetown, introducing zoning categories and design guidelines. Public consultation is a key component of the bylaw review and residents are invited to attend a public open house in the Upton Room at West Royalty Community Centre on May 15 from 6–9 pm to learn more and share their views on land-use zoning in the city.
As part of the City’s commitment to the federal Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) program, the intended changes to the bylaw will focus on enabling a broader range of housing solutions and streamlining approval processes to reduce red tape associated with development approvals.
