Stratford resident Mona Reck is participating in her seventh Great Cycle Challenge Canada this August, riding 200 kilometres and aiming to raise $500 for SickKids Foundation to support childhood cancer research and care. Great Cycle Challenge Canada encourages cyclists across the country to set personal riding goals and fundraise throughout August. Since 2016, participants have raised more than $61 million for SickKids. SickKids Foundation is Canada’s largest charitable funder of child health research, learning and care, raising funds for The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), one of the world’s leading pediatric health-care institutions.
